Team owner and driver, Alan Blencowe is a British racing driver who competed in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) in the early 2000s. He made his mark in the series driving a GA Motorsport Alfa Romeo followed by a year in a Honda Civic Type-R with Barwell Motorsport.
Through his racing career, Blencowe is know for his determination and skill on track. Prior to his touring car career, he had success in 750 MotorClub's Stock Hatch series, from a self-built competitive Peugeot 205. Since then he has successfully competed in the UK's SEAT Championship, Britcar Series and more recently in the 750 Motor Clubs Club Enduro and Roadsport Series in a Gen-1 TCR Cupra.
In 2023, Alan wanted to get back behind the wheel and he purchased a 2018 Gen-1 TCR Cupra and entered the Club Enduro Championship in 2024, hosted by 750 Motorclub - back to where his racing journey first started.
Running under the already established ABR banner, 2024 was a development year, for Alan, the team and the car, but together the team successfully secured a win at the last round of the Club Enduro Championship.
For 2025, ABR have entered the Roadsports and Club Enduro Championships - both run by 750 Motor Club - with a view to building on last year's race win and securing more podiums.
As a team we believe that racing is about passion, dedication, and the relentless drive to push forward.
